In order to rank the poorest towns the entire state, the list factored things with the following criteria: poverty level, highest unemployment rates and population density.

After analyzing the data in the 2010-2014 American Community Survey for the 301 places in Michigan with more than 2,000 people, it was possible to determine the Top 15 Poorest Cities In Michigan.
